Soul Child Photography
Souldchild Photography is a manchester based photographer who specialises in professional portraits and events, her portraits are really some of my favourite photographs to look at.
SoulChild Photography is not just a name is a company in the heart of a loving community specialising in professional portraits and events. SoulChild means fun and we love to bring the fun and creative aspect to everything we photograph. SoulChild are photographers in Manchester and are experts in the field of portrait photography, fashion photography, event photography, baby portraits, professional model portfolio head and body shots.
Currently working on Makeover Photography for individual musicians and artists. My name is Natasha and I am the owner of the company. I created a brand which I think describes Manchester and myself at it best Soulful meaning I love my area and community and work with it ayway I can. Child, fun and creative at heart! No fear and will to take risks to make the best out of my skills.
My main focus in the company for the moment is music and event photography and I am currently doing a collaboration with the allaboutgoodmusic team based in Manchester. I have been networking with models and agencies in the Midland and South England area to expand my connections in the music industry.
I have two projects in there early stages, one is regarding the genral publics perception of beauty and give willing participants the opportunity give there views and be interviewed and photographed by my team. I am also working on a fairytale themed project based on our once upon a time stories, but with a historical twist. Childrens stories always use to have a sinister side and I which to exploit that in my work. I have recently photographed some clothes made by Turita Fogg and she will be helping me on this project.
I am influenced by Duane Michals an photographer who turned his pictures into are work by drawing creating and redesigning what he photographed. I am very hands on and love to be thoroughly involved in my craft. I enjoy the ever changing world of photography and hope to move abroad in the next 5 years to add some culture experience to my knowledge I love photography and think its a great way of expressing who I am.
